After seven years of hard work and consistency, AllTrack officially became the 4th official Performance Rights Organization [PRO] in the United States. Authorized by CISAC on August 28th, 2024, AllTrack joins the established ranks of ASCAP, BMI, and SESAC, but with a focus on independent musicians.
With the release of AllTrack, most musicians are asking the same questions. What is a performance rights organization? What makes AllTrack stand out from the others? Can I sign up with more than one PRO? To answer all your mind-boggling questions regarding AllTrack, read further.

What is a Performance Rights Organization for Musicians?
A performance rights organization collects royalties from broadcast channels and pays the musicians after collecting some charges. Think of these organizations as middlemen between a musician who allows their music to be copyrighted and a broadcast channel like radio or television that wants to enforce the copyright.
Aside from television and radio, other broadcast channels include clubs and restaurants. Broadcast channels are ideal for marketing your music and getting the recognition you need while you charge them for using your music to entertain their audience. To collect your royalties or charges, the PRO you registered with will be on the lookout for broadcast channels to collect the royalties on your behalf.

Can I Sign Up With More Than One PRO?
Unfortunately, you cannot sign up with multiple performance rights organizations at a time. When choosing a PRO to work with, most people prefer to use the PROs of their favorite artists or recommendations from friends without getting all the information they require. However, choosing to work with AllTrack will be reasonable as you have been exposed to its benefits.
AllTrack is affiliated with Global Reach and the International Confederation of Societies and Composers (CISCA). This affiliation implies that all registered musicians with AllTrack can earn royalties from over 120 countries worldwide. Registered musicians' primary benefit is increasing their reach, expanding their audience, and making more money. As a musician, will you try AllTrack or stick with the big three?
